Art & Advocacy Unit, 2019 (7:12 min.)
This film documents the work of student participants of the Farnsworth’s Arts in Education Multi-visit Arts-Integration Program “Art and Advocacy.” Inspired by the Farnsworth Art Museum's exhibition of dissident artist Ai Weiwei’s artwork, students examined local and global issues relevant in their lives through the lens of art advocacy. In partnership with Storm Warriors, students and teachers at Rivers Alternative Middle School share their experiences and the construction of their “brain sculpture.”

Student filmmakers in the Farnsworth Art Museum's Julia's Gallery Program for Young Artists partner with Director Nicole Marie Fuller to document the first year of the Stories of the Land and Its People program.
